alloy 800 - Special Metals Corporation
INCOLOY ® alloy 800 specialmetals The INCOLOY® 800 series of alloys, invented by the Special Metals Corporation Group of Companies, is the result of years of monitoring and maintaining the ultimate chemical properties for high-temperature strength and resistance to oxidation, carburization and other types of high-temperature corrosion.
INCOLOY ® ® alloy 800H & 800HT specialmetals The story of the “INCOLOY® alloys series,” from 800, through 800H, 800HT® The INCOLOY® 800 series of alloys, invented by the Special Metals Corporation Group of Companies, is the

Incoloy 800. Incoloy 800 is a nickel-chromium alloy that is best known for its ability to maintain a stable structure during prolonged exposure to high temperatures. Incoloy 800 possesses more than the strength to withstand the basic stress caused by heat, though.
This Nickel-Iron-Chromium alloy has good strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburisation in high temperature atmospheres. Incoloy 800 also resists corrosion in many aqueous environments. Incoloy® 800 is also known as Nicrofer 3220, Nicrimphy 800, and Pyromet 800.
Alloy 800H is a solution heat treated (2100°F/1150°C), controlled-carbon version of alloy 800 with improved elevated temperature properties. It has improved creep and stress-rupture characteristics in the 1100°F (593°C) to 1800°F (982°C) temperature range.
Incoloy® 800HT Available in any of the 'profile options' This Nickel-Chromium-Iron alloy has the same basic composition as Incoloy 800, but has significantly higher creep rupture strength, resultant from the close control of the carbon, aluminium and titanium contents.
Incoloy 8Incoloy 800 H is an iron-nickel-chromium alloy having the same basic composition as Incoloy 800, with significantly higher creep rupture strength. The higher strength results from close control of carbon, aluminum and titanium contents in conjunction with a high temp anneal.
Incoloy 800, 800H, and 800HT are nickel-iron-chromium alloys with good strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization in high-temperature exposure. These nickel steel alloys are identical except for the higher level of carbon in alloy 800H, and the addition of up to 1.20 percent aluminum and titanium in alloy 800HT.
Incoloy® Alloys The Incoloy® alloys distributed by American Special Metals are used in a wide range of industries and applications around the world, including: ... Incoloy® Alloy 800 Incoloy® Alloy 800H/800HT/800AT Incoloy® Alloy 825 ...
Another member of the 800 alloy family is Incoloy® 800HT. Also sold as Nickel Alloy 800HT, this nickel-iron-chromium alloy, has many of the same characteristics of other members of the 800 alloy grouping. Incoloy 800HT has roughly the same chemical composition as Incoloy 800H, differing only slightly in carbon, aluminum, and titanium levels.
What is the Difference Between Inconel® and Incoloy ...
Inconel ®, predominantly of nickel-chrome, generally contains over 50% nickel, whereas Incoloy l®, a nickel-iron-chromium alloy, has less than 50% nickel content. On a more specific level, the major distinctions between the two are their applications and spheres of suitability.
Alloy 800 is a widely used material of construction for ...
Incoloy® Alloy 800 (UNS N08800/W. Nr. 1.4876) is a widely used material for construction of equipment requiring corrosion resistance, heat resistance, strength, and stability for service up to 1500°F (816°C).
INCOLOY® alloy 800H/800HT/800AT is designated as UNS N08810, UNS N08811 and Werkstoff Number 1.4876, 1.4958, 1.4959. It is listed in NACE MR0175 for oil and gas service. Nickel-iron-chromium alloys having the same basic composition as INCOLOY® alloy 800 but with significantly higher creep-rupture strength.
Incoloy 800 Pipe suppliers Alloy 800 Pipe, ASTM B407 UNS N08800 Pipe, B407 UNS N08800 Pipe suppliers in India . Steel Tubes India is the only company in India who awarded by Indian Government for Export Excellence for 6 consecutive Years.
Incoloy 800 is a combination of nickel and chromium alloy that has excellent tensile strength and resistance to oxidation as well as carburzation properties. This alloy is extremely functional as it maintains a stable structure, even when exposed to high temperature.
certified alloy meeting the elemental requirements of both alloys. The principle difference between alloy 800H and 800HT® material is the restricted aluminum and titanium content in 800HT®, which results in higher creep and stress rupture properties. Both Alloy 800H and 800HT® are superior to Alloy 800 …
Incoloy refers to a range of superalloys produced by the Special Metals Corporation group of companies. They are mostly nickel-based, and designed for excellent corrosion resistance as well as strength at high temperatures; there are specific alloys for resistance to particular chemical attacks (e.g. alloy 020 is designed to be resistant to ...
Incoloy® alloy 800H and 800HT® have significant strength
The carbon content for Incoloy® alloy 800H (UNS N08810) is 0.05% to 0.10% which is the upper end of the 0.10% maximum specified for Incoloy® alloy 800. The chemical limits for Incoloy® 800HT® (UNS08811) are even more restrictive yet still within the limits specified for Incoloy® 800H.
